Nate Ramanan serves as Director of IT for GovMVMT, the premier purchasing cooperative offering both public agencies and supplier partners innovative procurement solutions in the marketplace.
He graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Connecticut and started his career working for Fair Isaac, Ask.com and several top tier web properties before finding his calling in public procurement. He has been working in public procurement since 2010, leading the U.S. Communities public procurement IT division and helped architect their web & enterprise software. Key initiatives revolved around building a secure and user-friendly web portal for public agencies as well as a clearing and settlement system that helped partner with city and county sponsors.

Nate joined the likeminded GovMVMT team to reestablish a public agency first focus and create a gold standard in public sector cooperative programs benefiting public agencies. He has a wealth of experience in building user friendly and powerful IT systems that help public agency users to collaborate and benefit from our supplier partners.
